    1. STAPLER

      By Camilo Toruno (Class 802)

All day long I am handled by humans
I live for the delightful pleasure of
      Uniting different objects for life

I revel in the delectable consistency of my victims
As I clamp down and use my terrible jaws
      To join them together

      Sometimes they resent me
      I am strong though

I am an incredible creature that feels no remorse
Their loathing does not bother me

I exist to serve and won't let others' feelings towards me
      Destroy who I am

    2. Together We Can
      By Niemah Brooks Class 803

      Climbing Mt.Zion
      Was a sight to see
      I wouldnt be there
      If it wasn't for the
      Conscience within me
      Looking up
      At the amazing
      Blue sky
      Hearing my echo
As I tried not to cry
      I was elated
      At the same time deflated
      Kicking the pebbles
As if I was a rebel
Siniging songs to keep my spirits
      Above level
But at the end of the day
      The trip was in May
      Summer time was onnits way
      And I had fun

    3. My sandwich
      By Justin Garcia

      My Sandwich

      I ran to the bedroom
      Anxious to eat my sandwich
      Made to perfection, layered high
The mumble of my television in the distance

I enter my room, hunger waiting to be satisfied
As i go to lay down
      Ahhhhhh
I yell and let the plate drop

As it fell i saw my sister
As a smile turned to a worried face
She yells as the plate falls
My brother in the distance laughing
And i just felt bad about the sandwich i just lost
